The Atlantic Heritage Floor is a refined and atmospheric level that represents the Atlantic heritage of the castle: the connection between Portugal and Brazil, between the Minho region and the other side of the Atlantic, between territory, travel, memory and landscape.
In addition to the various venues, one of the key highlights of the Heritage Floor are its two exceptional balconies, which offer breathtaking views over the castle grounds. These vantage points provide an immersive visual experience, making them ideal for photography and video capture.
Framing the natural and architectural beauty below, the balconies transform the Heritage Floor into a place where history, scenery, and storytelling come together in perfect harmony.

At the heart of the space stands a striking island bar, designed as a contemporary centerpiece that immediately captures attention due to its distinctive lighting and a more social evening atmosphere, representing the bridge between Portugal and Brazil through the Atlantic. Surrounded by high tables and stools that encourage interaction, conversation, and a lively social atmosphere. Fully equipped to accommodate a wide range of events, The Atlantic Bar is perfectly suited for cocktail receptions, networking gatherings, product presentations, informal receptions and social moments before or after main events.
Enhancing its appeal is a charming outdoor balcony directly connected to the bar area. Here, guests can step outside to enjoy breathtaking views across the Great Lawn, the tranquil lake, and the expansive outdoor deck extension of the Cave. Grand Salon Palmeira
The Grand Salon Palmeira is the main reception salon on this floor, mirroring the scale of the Grand Salon Francisca on the floor below. The name connects the space to the area where the castle is located – Palmeira – reinforcing the Portuguese, Minho and local roots of the estate.
With large windows facing the surrounding woodland and a small intimate balcony overlooking the gardens, this salon should function as one of the noble rooms of the castle. This seamless connection between interior and nature creates a living backdrop that changes with the seasons, bringing light, texture, and movement into every event hosted within the room, whether cocktail receptions, exclusive dinners, weddings, presentations or product launch.
Minho Room
The Minho Room is a refined and intimate space that pays tribute to the landscape, the Portuguese roots and the Atlantic connection. Inspired by the elegance of the serene character of the estate’s grounds, the room reflects a quiet sophistication rooted in its exceptional location.
Comparable in scale to the João Régu Room on the lower level, the Minho Room is ideally suited for intimate dinners, private meetings, small executive gatherings, and discreet social occasions. Its proportions have been carefully considered to create a sense of comfort and exclusivity, offering a setting where focus, conversation, and connection naturally take place.
Although the room does not feature a balcony on its own, it benefits from generous windows that frame captivating views over the castle’s landscaped grounds.
